Threedify – 3Dimensional Excel
ThreeDify Excel CoreBlock (CoreBlock), previously known as Excel CoreViz, is an innovative drillhole visualizer and simplified resource estimator that is specifically designed for investors, fund managers, and field geologists. It is deployed as a Microsoft Excel add-in that features 3D drillhole data visualization, implicit modelling and simplified resource estimation. CoreBlock consists of two modules that can be licensed separately.
- The CoreViz Module offers interactive 3D drillhole data visualization within Microsoft Excel
- The BlockModel Module features anisotropic Radial Basis Function (RBF) based implicit modelling. It allows the user to quickly create and export 3D block models of grades and wireframes (as iso-grade surfaces or solids). The RBF interpolator is known to be a viable alternative to Ordinary Kriging without the need for the tedious variogram modelling. The BlockModel module also allows the user to classify resources into measured, indicated and inferred classes.
CoreBlock is not only created for geologists, but also for other stakeholders, such as investors, fund managers, and property owners. To view their properties, they can freely share CoreBlock-powered Excel worksheets or animation videos exported by CoreBlock without resorting to other complex and expensive geological modelling packages.
